Next Charging
Patented
Technology
Wireless charging is the key to the fast adoption of EV as this enables easy charging, and power snacking all throughout the day.
How Next Charging will
Change the Game?
Unlike other wireless chargers, NEXT receiving pad is installed on the bumper of the car. This gives the user more flexibility for wireless charging since the transmitting pad can be installed either on the ground or at a slight elevation. With this advantage, never have to worry about loose items disrupting the charging of your EV.
How Does
Wireless Charging
Technology Work?
This technology works via inductive charging. Similar to wirelessly charging gadgets, Inductive charging is when a pad transmits energy - magnetic pulses emitted by the transmitting pad - to the receiving pad. The receiving pad then receives these pulses and converts it to electricity, which is then transferred to the battery for storage or for use.
EV Wireless Charging
Output
Normally, wireless charging at home uses Level 1 chargers. This is an AC output, a standard in house garages.

Normally, wireless charging at home uses Level 1 chargers. This is an AC output, a standard in house garages. Level 2 chargers are faster and normally run using DC output. These are usually installed in parking lots and public access charging points. Home garages may install this type of charger, but there is a need to do some electrical configurations. Level 3 and Level 4 are fast chargers and are usually seen in public areas as well and usually cater to on-to-go customers.
Wireless Charging Universal
standard (SAE J2954)
SAE J2954, launched in 2020, is the latest document set forth to standardize wireless charging technology for electric vehicles. This standard also paves way for simple and safe charging and ensures that a vehicle can charge anywhere as long as it is SAE J2954-compatible.
